South Shore Conservatory presents the eighth season of the Duxbury Music Festival (DMF), with DMF faculty and student performances from July 21 through August 2.  Nestled in the South Shore seaside town of Duxbury, DMF draws international undergraduate and post-graduate students who wish to participate in an intensive program for the study and performance of solo and chamber repertoires.  Spectacular performances open to the public culminate the training these accomplished musicians receive during the Festival.  In celebration of the efforts of the DMF faculty and students, the Festival, in conjunction with South Shore Conservatory and the efforts of more than 150 volunteers, offers a multitude of community events.

Festival Director Stephen Deitz has recruited a faculty of internationally-acclaimed musicians to perform in four faculty concerts, including pianists Nelita True, Jeffrey Cohen, Monique Duphil, and Regina Yung; violinists Felicia Moye and Lucie Robert; violist Michelle LaCourse; and cellist Gregory Sauer.Schedule of EventsJuly 21, 7:00 pm     SEASIDE OPENING CONCERT
