Would Dad accept your uniformed "colleagues" ie. Carers coming along to help you?
Uniformed carers are often seen as "Nurses" and a position of authority, and will often be accepted.
However he is very close to needing full time Care, what would be his situation, if you weren't there?
As you will know, a stroppy resident, with correct handling, can be a real pussy cat!
Your father in a well chosen Home, will be clean and tidy in a very short time.
My father when he went into care, absolutely bloomed, with the care.
