The Comedy Sportz New Year’s Eve Late Show features a full Comedy Sportz match that takes you right up to the final New Year’s countdown! The content is fine for any age, but this show also includes a free champagne toast for the 21 and up crowd. Other adult beverages will be available all night, with proceeds going to benefit CJ’s Thumbs Up Foundation.

Get a head start on the new year with the Science Museum of Virginia’s countdown to noon – complete with a non-traditional version of the traditional ball drop! Watch as 2,017 bouncy balls, paper streamers and confetti fall from the Rotunda ceiling and enjoy an apple juice toast to celebrate the coming of 2017. All ages are welcome at this fun and festive take on New Year’s Eve.

Ring in the New Year with your friends at CMoR (Children’s Museum of Richmond). This year, for the first time ever, ALL CMoR locations will be open on New Year’s Eve and hosting their own special twist on a classic New Year’s celebration. Take part in a special presentation about clocks and the importance of time, participate in Seymour’s grand parade, then countdown to noon with a juice box toast! CMoR Central will also feature a special confetti room! Be sure to come back on January 1, 2017, and keep the party going with a special New Year’s Day Celebration.

This family-oriented, alcohol-free New Year’s Eve celebration features festivities and performing arts throughout the City of Williamsburg and College of William & Mary campus.
