JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Skuter matik Honda PCX 150 belum sempat membalas kehadiran All New Yamaha NMAX 155. Dalam waktu dekat ini, Yamaha kembali akan meluncurkan skutik terbaru di segmen sama, yakni Majesty S 155.
Nama Majesty bisa dibilang tak asing bagi konsumen di Indonesia, karena versi lawasnya pernah dipasarkan. Di Taiwan, skutik ini diberi nama SMax. Berdasarkan keterangan resmi dari Yamaha Jepang, Majesty S 155 rencananya akan diluncurkan 10 April 2020 di sana.
Dimensinya tak jauh berbeda dengan NMAX atau Aerox. Fitur-fiturnya juga tak kalah menarik, meskipun tak selengkap NMAX.

Panel instrumen Majesty terbaru ini masih tetap dengan tampilan mewah. Di bagian dek tengah disematkan slot penyimpanan yang terdapat power outlet di dalamnya.
Di bagian kiri, ada lubang tangki bahan bakar, seperti di FreeGo. Di bagian kanan tetap kunci kontak, yang sayangnya belum dibekali dengan keyless plus immobilizer.
Dengan lubang tangki di atas, maka dek bawahnya jadi rata. Ruang penyimpanannya jadi lebih maksimal, berbeda dengan NMAX atau Aerox. Beralih ke bawah jok, bagasinya sangat luas dengan kapasitasnya mencapai 7,4 liter.
Di sektor mesin, Majesty S 155 ini dibekali dengan mesin berkapasitas 155 cc, SOHC, dan berpendingin udara. Mesin tersebut menghasilkan tenaga mencapai 14,7 tk pada 7.500 rpm. Sedangkan torsi maksimumnya mencapai 14 Nm pada 6.000 rpm.

Untuk kaki-kakinya, sama seperti NMAX dan Aerox, yang menggunakan pelek berukuran 13 inci. Ban depan juga pakai ukuran 120/70-13 dan ban belakangnya 130/70-13. Sistem pengeremannya juga belum menggunakan teknologi Anti-lock Braking System (ABS).
Majesty S 155 dibanderol 379.500 yen atau setara Rp 59,4 jutaan. Sementara NMAX versi lama, di Jepang seharga 385.000 yen atau setara Rp 60,3 jutaan.
