We have an elderly relative who lives at home with dementia.
We have Power of Attorney (LPA property and financial affairs) registered and use the Royal Mail redirection service which is coming up to its 4th anniversary.
Royal Mail have written to us advising us that the maximum redirection period is 4 years and it's unclear from the Royal Mail website whether there is an exemption for situations like the one described above.
Has anyone else come across this ?
